GREGORY MURPHY - SECRETARY
GREGORY MURPHY lives in New York. His first play, The Countess, was the longest-running drama on-or-off Broadway in the 1999-2000 season (634 performances). The Countess has since been produced throughout the United States, in Europe, Asia and in London’s West End at the Criterion Theatre. Mr. Murphy has written a screenplay based on The Countess and is currently working on his second novel, a mystery, Madison Square. His first novel, Incognito, set in New York City and Long Island circa 1911, was sold to Berkley Books, and was published in July 2011. His second play Household Words is based on Charles Dickens’s relationship with his two daughters at the time of his affair with the 19-year-old actress Ellen Ternan.
